I decided to model a car after being inspired by a friends model of a Mercedes 300sl. The car that I chose to recreate is a Ferrari 250gt spyder california as this has always been one of my favourite cars and I thought that the two would look good together for a potential future project.
I set out looking for reference images to begin building my car. I managed to find a lot of of pictures, but it was hard to get a good set for the same model, as there were subtle differences from photo to photo. This meant I couldn't be as accurate as I would have liked to have to and had to reference from different models for different areas of the car.
